This policy explains what DnRatings ("we") collects when you use dnratings.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google; we don't get your Google password or access to your Google data.
- Use of the service: the domains you value, your watchlist, bulk runs, API keys you create and notification settings, so we can show your history and send the alerts you ask for.
- Payments: payments are handled by PayPal. We keep the PayPal order ID, the plan, the amount and the date. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs, used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a few strictly necessary cookies for security. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To run your account and provide valuations, history, watchlists and alerts.
- To process payments and manage your plan.
- To send service emails: account verification, password resets, alerts you enabled and plan reminders.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- PayPal: payments.
- Resend: sending emails.
- Cloudflare: content delivery and security.
- Google: sign-in, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Our hosting provider: the servers the service runs on.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Payment records are kept as long as accounting rules require. When you delete your account, your profile, history and watchlist are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion by writing to [email protected] from the address on your account. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (for example under the GDPR) and can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
DnRatings isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you by email for significant changes.
